Production method | 1. Dissolve 5 grams of germanium trichloride trihydrate and 10 grams of sodium acetate trihydrate in a solution of 100 ml of glacial acetic acid and 100 ml of absolute ethanol, and reflux under nitrogen protection for 1 hour. The red solution quickly turns green and precipitates green solids. Dissolve in boiling methanol (about 600 ml) and filter. The filtrate is concentrated to about 400 ml and frozen overnight in the refrigerator to produce the dark green methanol adduct Rh2(OCOCH3)4.2 CH3oH. Heat the adduct in a vacuum (}5 ℃) for 0 hours to remove methanol to obtain 3.2g of bright green germanium acetate crystal |
